Plant-Based Cooking Classes
The unique beauty of Dr. Dawn’s Plant-Based Kitchen is that not only is it 100% plant-based, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free — it is also anti-inflammatory which means that we are nightshade-free. Since Dr. Dawn specializes in autoimmune disease, many of her patients are on specific anti-inflammatory diets. Nightshades can fuel more inflammation with autoimmune disease. The main nightshades that we are avoiding are tomato, eggplant, pepper and white potato.


We offer healthy plant-based options with these specific dietary needs. The purpose is to introduce whole foods that are delicious instead of processed options which are unhealthy. Come enjoy and learn about creative and fun ways to incorporate more antioxidants from food into your life!


The Heart Behind Our Plant-Based Cooking Classes
When Dr. Dawn created these classes, it wasn’t just about teaching recipes—it was about creating a space where healing could truly begin.
She saw a need. So many of her patients were overwhelmed by one simple but powerful question: “What do I eat to feel better?” The health plans she designs often lead to amazing breakthroughs, but she knew the missing piece was practical, hands-on support in the kitchen.
This came from her own story too. Years ago, Dr. Dawn was deep in her own healing journey, living with Lupus. Through trial and error, she discovered that eliminating nightshades, sugar, and gluten—and embracing simple, plant-based meals—dramatically reduced her symptoms. Food became her medicine. It transformed her health and her life.
Now, she’s passionate about sharing this wisdom and helping others discover how nourishing, delicious, and healing food can be. These classes are here to:
